On behalf of the residents of Twin Peaks, I'd like to thank you for taking the time to visit us today. I know you're going to enjoy your tour.
When I look back on these past six years as Sheriff, it's hard to believe all that's happened here in Twin Peaks. The town's really grown, and the people are changing. Business is booming. And this year, Twin Peaks High School made it to the state finals in wrestling with a co-educational squad. Unfortunately, crime's up. But I've got a real strong, conscientious team working with the FBI to solve these horrible injustices.
As you embark upon your self-guided tour, feel free to stop and talk with the townspeople. You're getting a real insider's look into a place that's different. It's a place where, as FBI Special Agent Cooper has said, "The have a cherry pie that'll kill you. Douglas firs. A yellow light that still means slow down, not speed up. Jelly donuts. A damn good cup of coffee. And air as fresh and crisp as a cracker."
